Here is a list of resources that can help you to hack your life to become happier and healthier individuals. This list of valuable resources has come from personal experience alone – nothing else. This is what I have used to change my life. It will be frequently updated so keep visiting!

  • Art of Manliness – Guy or girl, you can learn a lot from successful individuals in history and practices that have since been forgotten. I started taking cold showers after reading a post here.
  • Tynan – Traveler, hacker, and thought-leader, Tynan offers advice to live a more enjoyable life.
  • Startup Bros – Mind hacking and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. You do not have to work for someone else
  • Location 180 – This blog by Sean Ogle will teach you how to break free from your desk job to focus on what you want to do that makes you happy.
  • Nerd Fitness – This successful blog encourages people to exercise in a fun way, which incorporates video games and cartoons. Diet and lifestyle advice that rocks.
  • Snow Pursuit – A quest from living at home to creating an internet empire that will allow Henno to snowboard wherever he wants for the rest of his life. He uses all the same mind-hacking techniques as I do to achieve his goals.

  • “The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks and Win Your Inner Creative Battles” – Steven Pressfield  – As a writer, Pressfield has fought his share of creative battles. He outlines the enemy, “resistance”, step-by-step to help you defeat it at work. I finished this in one day. (affiliate link)
  • “Body by Science: A Research-Based Program for Strength Training, Body Building, and Complete Fitness in 12 Minutes a Week” – Doug McGuff, M.D. and John Little – If you want to know how to be completely health with only a few minutes of working out once a week, get this book.
  • “The UltraMind Solution” – Mark Wyman – This book discusses your brain and how to stop living at a sub-optimal level. With great scientific analysis, Wyman offers dietary parameters as well as exercise and stress-relief information.
  • “I Was Blind But Now I See” – James Altucher – Brutally honest, Altucher covers topics from life and success to embarrassment and humiliation. Add in some humor and you have a winner.
  • “Stop Giving a Fuck: The Ultimate Goal” – Jake Laura – Initially a free-giveaway book, this gave me a great perspective on life in general and what other people think of me. Do what you want!
  • “How to Be the Luckiest Person Alive” – James Altucher – On the list again is this beautiful book. Based on many topics on his blog, Altucher pours out his guts for the good of mankind. This is FREE in my email newsletter!
  • “Lights Out” – T.S. Wiley – Everyone loves to sleep, but few people get enough hours or sleep at the right time. Many modern “diseases of civilization” are a result of hormonal imbalances caused by disruptions in our natural sleeping patterns.
  • “A Whole New Mind: Why Right Brainers Will Rule the Future” – Dan Pink – Touching upon globalization and economic trends, Pink discusses why creative and empathetic thinkers that are predominantly right-brained will rule the future.
  • “How to Win Friends and Influence People” – Dale Carnegie – This timeless guide to win friends and influence people has been used by many of the most successful people in the past few decades. This is a classic must-read for brokering great relationships among other people.
  • “Think and Grow Rich” – Napoleon Hill – Success, no matter how it is defined, can only come when you have mentally assured yourself of it. This classic will help to remove the obstacles within your own head.
